Valve cores are precision parts that are also known as the heart of tire valves. They have the functions of ensuring the smooth flow of air being pumped in when the valve is open and usually preventing air leaking out. They play an important role that is essential when a car is running.

From the air injection valves representative of tire valves, we have a lineup of valve cores capable of injection and encapsulation of all media and pressure control from low to high.

It is our company's founding product with over 90 years of manufacturing experience since its first domestic production in Japan (1930), and currently boasts the world's top market share with over 100% of the domestic market and 50% of the overseas market. (Our estimate)

Tire valves are air inlet valves for tires and we have types for various vehicles ranging from motorcycles and passenger cars to trucks, construction vehicles and aircraft. We conform not only to Japanese standards such as JIS and JATMA*1, but also to international standards such as ISO and TRA*2, as well as the ELV and RoHS regulations for environmentally hazardous substances. Tire valves can be divided into two types, tubeless valves, which are attached directly to the rim of aluminum or steel wheels, and tube valves, which are attached to an inner tube.

These are easy to handle with specifications for mounting by deforming the rubber in the rim hole. These are used for four-wheel passenger cars, motorized bicycles and other tubeless tires, and have a maximum working pressure of 450 kPa.

These have higher pressure resistance than snap-in valves and can be used with high-pressure tires. These are designed to be very safe even at high pressure by controlling torque with a nut when mounted in a rim hole. These have a metallic high-class design and can be designed with color variations by metal plating and anodizing. They are used in industrial vehicles, trucks, buses, four-wheel passenger vehicles (high grade) and motorbikes.

Because tube tires have excellent load capacity, they are used mainly on unpaved roads (rough roads). They are used mainly for tires for trucks, buses and motorbikes, but are also used in life jackets (with floating tubes).

Tire pressure gauge (UniV’ Air)

We manufacture instruments for measuring pressure when adjusting car tire pressure, etc. They are used in various places such as tire shops.

Air Control Valves for Heat Pump Systems

Electric expansion valves for BEVs

Previously, engine exhaust heat was used as a heat source in the heating operation of car air conditioners, but PHEVs and BEVs lack the heat source necessary for heating, so a system that does not use the engine and can heat with energy saving is required. Because of that, a heat pump system that uses the heat transfer principle and the properties of refrigerant gas to pump heat from the outside air temperature has been adopted, and the market is expanding greatly in association with the transition to electrification.

The company is expanding its lineup to meet the needs of the age of electrification by realizing the size and weight reduction of these electronic expansion valves indispensable to heat pump systems and their lower cost.

Charging Valve

A charge valve is a valve for a refrigerant gas inlet in a car air conditioning system. A valve core is built in and plays the role of preventing refrigerant gas from leaking outside except when a coupler is connected.

These are products for which we applied the sealing technology we have accumulated in tire valves to refrigerant control in car and room air conditioners and fuel control in engines. We have realized the elimination of internal cutting work (as a quality measure against contamination) and high yields by converting to aluminum forging.

We boast a 75% share of the domestic and 50% share of the overseas market for charge valves.
We promote development and proposals in cooperation with our customers.

Relief Valve

Relief Valve

A relief valve is a safety valve that prevents pressure abnormalities within a car air conditioner system by opening the valve if the fluid pressure in the system exceeds the set pressure and closing the valve when the fluid pressure falls below the set pressure.

These products use the sealing technology we have accumulated with tire valves to control the refrigerant in car and room air conditioners and fuel in engines. We boast a 95% domestic and 90% overseas global market share for relief valves, and we promote development and proposals in cooperation with our customers.

This is a relief valve for hydrogen fuel equipped with a safety valve function that protects the system at times of pressure abnormalities and a pressure adjustment function for the downstream stack to operate normally. Even if high pressure hydrogen flows into the downstream system due to a pressure adjustment defect, etc., the relief valve will open properly to release hydrogen gas and protect the system. Aluminum, which is resistant to hydrogen brittleness, is used as the main component, achieving high price competitiveness while being compact and highly functional.
